CATAPULT is a Caribbean arts grant delivered by Kingston Creative and The American Friends of Jamaica which started in 2020 as Covid-19 relief fund. In its second year, CATAPULT II aims to provide financial support to 300 artists across the Caribbean through relief grants worth $500 USD. Applicants will also get the opportunity to be showcased in the Kingston Creative Database; an open directory that the public can access to find, hire and easily partner with creatives for international and local projects.
The programme offers much needed financial support to vulnerable artists, but also leaves a lasting legacy- a standalone Caribbean Artist directory.
All applicants must be at least 21 years old, a practicing artist with at least one year of experience in their field and be a resident of one of the following countries:
Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Aruba, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Bonaire, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Curaçao, Dominica, Dominican Republic, French Guiana, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Martinique, Montserrat, Puerto Rico, Saba, St. Barthelemy, St. Eustatius, St. Kitts & Nevis. St. Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Saint Martin, Sint Maarten, Suriname Trinidad & Tobago, Turks & Caicos Islands, US Virgin Islands.
