Uniarte (officially Stichting Uniarte) is a Caribbean art platform meant to structurally contribute to the visibility, development, growth, and existence of emerging and professional contemporary artists in the Dutch Caribbean (Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, St. Maarten, St. Eustatius, and Saba) and other Caribbean parts of the region. Uniarte is also a platform designed for interdisciplinary and cultural agents engaged in research, experimentation, productions, and dissemination of artistic practices from and across the Caribbean. Uniarte wants to inspire and create online and communal spaces for being together, learning, and developing. We aim to create a dialogue between local, regional, and international artists and art production projects. Not only artists among themselves but precisely by connecting the public more with contemporary artists and creative professionals in the region.
The Open Call runs until the 30th of March 2022.
