Jaime Lauriano – Here is the End of the World raises questions about Brazil’s past and its relationship with the current political context.

Jaime Lauriano – Here is the End of the World is on display at the Museu de Arte do Rio (MAR). Curated by Marcelo Campos and Amanda Bonan, the show brings together more than 40 works, produced between 2008 and 2023, four of which were commissioned specially for the exhibition.
“It’s important for me to bring together, in the same exhibition, all these works from different periods, and I’m happy and thrilled to also present this selection to the public and to new generations of artists, because my work is very intertwined with this new moment in Brazilian art, of revisiting its history, thinking and creating a new story for Brazil, and to change its role. I’m an artist who is intrinsically connected with this movement. My works are part of great anthologies on the thinking of these other stories of Brazil”, says the artist.
Jaime Lauriano – Here is the End of the World will run until October 1, 2023.
