En el marco de los conflictos armados que actualmente se desarrollan en el mundo y luego de un proceso de investigación de más de cinco años, Mariana Najmanovich encuentra una serie de juguetes bélicos con imágenes de distintos soldados y figuras de guerras en Medio Oriente.

Este es el puntapié para la realización de un cuerpo de trabajo que bajo el título de “Otro Atlas” incorpora pintura, dibujos, documentos e instalaciones de diferentes piezas, dispuestas en este nuevo espacio de experimentación.

“Otro Atlas” consiste en la recopilación de material de archivo: fotografías y collages de dos series de obras: Prototipo para Armar y Funny Games. “Otro Atlas” también incluye una selección de trabajos que reflexionan sobre la temática bélica en distintos momentos de la historia.
