lugar a dudas

lugar a dudas is a non-profit independent space in the Colombian city of Cali. Its purpose is to promote and diffuse artistic contemporary creation through an articulate process of investigation, production and open confrontation. It is a laboratory to foment knowledge of contemporary art, facilitate development of creative process, and provoke community to interact through artistic practices.

The venue has a documentation center and several exhibition spaces, and it hosts regularly exhibitions of local and international artists, as well as residency programs.

As its name suggests, lugar a dudas, “place for doubts”, is a space for thinking and reflection of the artistic practices and the complexities we live in our context.
