CMCArts Artist-in-Residence Program

The CMCArts Artist-in-Residence Program applications are now open and will run until October 1. The program connects artists with St. Croix and the Caribbean to develop their professional practice while educating and diversifying the arts culture. Providing time and space in the city of Frederiksted for artists to work, research and develop while living at the museum in artist-in-residence apartments.

CMCArts is a non-profit organization with limited funding sources. Founded in 1994 as a means to address the increasing violence afflicting the youth of St. Croix, they provide alternative forms of positive expression through art. The artist in residence acts as an ambassador to the museum, providing community outreach through workshops, school programs, and artist talks.
