Alberto Pereira is a visual artist trained in Social Communication. Born in Rio de Janeiro, he lives and works in Niterói. His oeuvre stands out for its creation of artistic collages printed on street posters pasted onto open spaces around the city, like walls and siding. He is the founder of the Lambes Brasil network, active since 2016, which focuses on dissemination, event production and opportunities related to street artists producing street posters. From 2016 to 2018, he developed creative and free expression workshops at the Casa Amarela, an initiative of the French artist, JR, built in partnership with photographer Mauricio Hora in Morro da Providência, the first favela located in Rio’s central region. He has taken part in the following exhibitions and festivals, among others: La Première Expo de GIF (France, 2016), Art Rua (Brazil, 2016), CHEAP Street Art Festival (Italy, 2017), Something Else Off Biennale Cairo (Egypt, 2018), Brazil-Lebanon Cultural Center (Lebanon, 2018) and SESC Niterói (Brazil, 2019).
