With research that includes her interest in corporeality and Afro-diaspora musicality, Juliana dos Santos is a visual artist with video, performance, photography and multimedia works. She holds a Masters in Art Education and Cultural Mediation from the Arts Institute at Unesp in São Paulo and is a specialist in Afro-Brazilian culture. Her works have been presented, among others, at the BOUGE B Festival, in Antwerp, Belgium (2018) and participated in the exhibition Entre o Azul e Aquilo Que Não Me Deixam Esquecer, at the Library of the Academy of fine Arts Vienna, Austria (2017), as well as in the collectives Não podemos construir o que não conseguimos imaginar primeiro (We cannot construct what we’re unable to imagine first), Seasonal Projects of the Paço Das Artes, at the Museum of Image and Sound (MIS) in São Paulo (2017-2018) and at the exhibit Welt Kompakt?, at the frei_raum Q21, MuseumsQuartier, Vienna, Austria, in 2017.
