Born in Santo Antônio de Jesus, Bahia in 1990. Lives and works in Salvador (Bahia). Master’s in Culture and Society, Universidade do Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB), 2016. Bachelor’s in Media Studies from UFRB, 2012. He has participated in group exhibitions such as Axé Bahia: The Power of Art in an Afro-Brazilian Metropolis, Fowler Museum at UCLA, Los Angeles, USA; Festival Performe-se: Fronteiras borradas, fronteiras erguidas, Novas Poéticas, Galeria Cañizares, Salvador; Orixás, Casa França-Brasil, Rio de Janeiro, 2016; Reply All, Grosvenor Gallery, Manchester School of Art, Manchester, UK, 2016; Salão de Artes Visuais da Bahia – Edição Especial, Museu de Arte Moderna da Bahia, Salvador; Salão de Artes Visuais da Bahia – Camaçari, Cidade do Saber, Camaçari, 2014; 5 Encuentro de Acción en Vivo y Diferido, Bogotá 2013; Caruru dos 7 Poetas, Largo D’Ajuda, Cachoeira, 2009. In his art, themes such as the permanence of colonial structures, structural racism and social hierarchization appear in works such as the series Manufatura e colonialidade (2016), in which sugar is taken up in all its violent potential, while the reporting of state-coordinated aggression structures the video Apagamento# 1 (2017).
