The digital project 01.01 was created with the objective of turning former slave trading routes into a circuit of cultural exchange, promoting fair means of collecting art, with a focus on the production of the African Diaspora.
The platform, conceived by Ana Beatriz Almeida, Keyna Eleison, Moisés Patrício, Camilla Rocha Campos, and João Simões, offers residencies, exhibitions, acquisition of works of art, art consultations, symposia, publications, and educational programs for art acquisition.
Project 01.01 has the support of international institutions Bockantaj, of England, Galeria ILHA DO GRILO, of Portugal, and The Foundation for Contemporary Art-Ghana, among other partners.
