Art Spaces
online, Brazil
The website Artistas Latinas is a digital project that brings together the work and profiles of artists from countries around Latin America. The project, curated by Francela Carrera and Paulo Farias, seeks to create a collaborative platform for cultural dissemination that gives greater visibility to the artistic output of women, with multidisciplinary content. Artists, curators, researchers, and art and cultural theorists can participate in the site by submitting their work. The platform includes artists such as Arissana Pataxó and Rosana Paulino, from Brazil; Sandra Eleta, from Panama; and Harmonia Rosales, from Cuba. The site also has a blog, which posts news about other art projects, as well as an educational area, with video classes.
