MAOF Materia y Oficios (Beta Local)

MAOF materia y oficios is a temporary laboratory of Beta-Local in Santurce, a workshop space that allows for collaboration and exchange of knowledge through doing. It’s a place to experiment and work directly with materials, as well as reflect about process, tools, rhythms and scale.

The space is mainly a workshop, as well as residency, a place to hang and work. It’s conceived as a unit where different activities happen, without them the space doesn’t exist. MAOF is also an additional resource for the programs and participants of Beta-Local, and a connector between these and other initiatives.

MAOF hosts the projects Experimental Station by Diego de la Cruz Gaitán and La Impresora by Nicole Delgado. It also has interventions by the artists Federico Herrero, Chemi Rosado Seijo and Ramiro Chaves.
