Artist-in-Residence

Artist-in-Residence Munich, Ebenböckhaus and Salta art offer a residency for a contemporary visual artist from South America from 6 July to 27 September 2023.

The selected artist will live and work at the Ebenböckhaus artist residency in Munich, Germany. During their stay, the artist is expected to have a public lecture, a performance, a workshop, an exhibition or a similar event. The residency takes place within the framework of Various Others, a non-profit association that aims to promote the visibility of contemporary art in Munich.

The selection will be made by a committee composed of the council of Salta art: Maurin Dietrich (German curator, director of Kunstverein München), Kiki Mazzucchelli (Brazilian curator, artistic director at Galeria Luisa Strina in São Paulo) and José Roca (Colombian curator, artistic director of rīvus, 23rd Biennale of Sydney) together with a representative of the Department of Culture of the city of Munich and, if necessary, the participation of external experts.

The call for artists residing in South America is open until 15 November 2022. The application can be downloaded from the website saltaart.org/application.
