Pivô Research Program

Pivô and Salta art will offer a residency in São Paulo for curators, cultural workers and professional contemporary visual artists from Munich and the Munich S-Bahn area from August 5 to November 2 , 2025.

During their stay, participants can take advantage of activities suggested by Pivô, such as curatorial guidance, a master class with a guest, one-on-one meetings with guest speakers, group exercises and workshops. The program will be announced by Pivô at the beginning of the residency period. The activities and orientation will be defined by the resident and with the curatorial support of Pivô’s team.

Stipend: Participants will receive a monthly stipend of 800 euros, material expenses up to 700 euros, accommodation, and a studio space for the entire residency period. Expenses can be pre-paid or reimbursed. A round-trip economy ticket between Munich and São Paulo will also be covered. Please note that Salta art does not cover visa or insurance fees, nor shipping costs.

For additional readings, workshops, seminars, or research trips the residency holder will be reimbursed for expenses and receive an honorarium by Salta art. A written report at the end is expected.
