Born in 1968 in Salvador (Bahia). Lives in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. Master’s in Visual Arts, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, 1999. Undergraduate degree in Geology from the Federal University of Bahia, 1992. His work involves different media, including installation, objects, sculpture, drawing and photography. Solo shows include: O meu e o seu espaço se encontram em área de cor tênue, Goethe-Institut, Porto Alegre, 2015; Qualquer lugar, Galeria Casa Triângulo, São Paulo, 2013; Carefully Through, ProArtibus Art Residence Gallery, Ekenäs, Tammisaari, Finland, 2009; Número 5 – Torreão, Porto Alegre, 2003. He has participated in group shows such as: Territórios: artistas afrodescendentes no acervo da Pinacoteca. Estação Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo, São Paulo, 2016; What’s Your Location?, Contemporary Art-Plataform, Kwait, 2016; O Agora o Antes, uma Síntese do Acervo do MAC, Museum of Contemporary Art – University of São Paulo, São Paulo, 2013. In his art, the relationships between contemporary man and the occupation/production of physical space appear in different works, such as: Quarto-cozinha, 2006; SuperCinema, 2011 or O espaço se torna lugar na medida em que eu me familiarizo com ele, 2015-2017.
