Looren Forum

Translation House Looren, based in Switzerland, proposes a new online space for global exchange: Looren Forum.

Looren Forum is a series of multilingual online meetings that aims to promote the presentation and public discussion of reflections, cultural and/or artistic practices, and professional experiences within the broad framework of linguistic diversity. The online forum will be launched at the end of 2024 and foresees further editions in 2025 and 2026. Participation will be free of charge.

In this sense, we open a call for proposals for the presentation of voices, practices, stories, experiences, ontologies or forces that want to be shared and debated with the audience. These may be individual or group proposals. An honorarium will be awarded to the selected proposals to be actively presented during the forum. This first call for proposals will be open until 15 June 2024.

To participate in this call, please send a short summary of the proposal to carla.imbrogno@looren.net. (Proposals can be sent in English, French, German, Italian, Romansh, Spanish or Portuguese. Active participation will be possible in other languages as well, depending on the specific topics of each edition.)
